If you're looking for a way to brighten your under-eye area without piling on heavy concealer, you're in luck! Today, I’m sharing my secret for getting rid of dark circles while keeping the look light and natural - using Demi Color Correctors from Seint.
These correctors are an innovative and revolutionary approach to makeup, using color science to filter out distractions and achieve a glowing, natural complexion.
Unlike traditional concealers, Demi Color Correctors won’t leave behind any makeup texture. They’re super lightweight, highly pigmented, and require only a tiny amount to achieve big results. When applied correctly, it feels like magic under your eyes!
Why Use Color Correctors Instead of Concealer?
Concealers can often feel thick or cakey, especially under the delicate eye area. Instead of masking the issue, Demi Color Correctors neutralize excess colors in your skin that cause dark circles. This way, you get a more natural, radiant finish while using minimal product.
How to Determine Your Corrector Colors
Correcting dark circles can be tricky because everyone's under-eye area is different. There are so many colors under the eye, and they vary from person to person. The key is to carefully observe what colors you see under your eye and choose the correct Demi Corrector accordingly.
Here’s a quick guide to help you figure out which Demi shades you may need:
Your color placement might not match mine exactly because everyone’s under-eye area is unique. Don’t be afraid to experiment a little to find what works best for you!
A Closer Look at the Most Common Demi Correctors:
O3 – This orange shade is perfect for covering distractions caused by excess blue, like veins or dark, dull spots. Excess blue will appear as a dark area, often appearing ashy or shadowy.
YO1 – Yellow-orange works wonders for neutralizing purple-blue tones. This Demi corrector will filter dark spots that contain more purple than blue. These areas are more colorful but are still somewhat dark/shadowy and not very bright. Usually you'll see this color in the inner corner under the eye. It's also good for broken capillaries, typically around the nose.
RO1 – Red-orange is great for neutralizing excess green-blue which can appear brownish. These areas will be dark and shadowy but slightly muddy looking rather than completely cool and ashy. You'll often find green-blue in areas under they eyes but also in sun spots, melasma, age spots, and hyperpigmentation.
The Brush
In my opinion, the best brush for Demi Color Correctors is the Bright Brush. The smaller, dense end is perfect for applying and the larger, fluffy end is best for blending. It's the perfect size to tackle smaller areas of distraction and makes application a breeze.
The Wide Awake Collection from Seint
Seint offers a fantastic Demi collection called the Wide Awake Edit. This colleciton is ideal for bringing life back to sleepy or dark under eyes and has every color you could possibly need to erase darkness under your eyes, including the three I’ve mentioned -O3, YO1, and RO1. Plus, the Wide Awake collection is discounted 15%, making it a more cost-effective option than buying individual Demi Correctors.
Final Thoughts
Demi Color Correctors are a game-changer for achieving a bright and natural under-eye look. With just a little practice, you can ditch heavy concealers and start using color science to neutralize those pesky dark circles. Trust me, once you’ve tried Demi, you’ll be amazed at the difference it makes!
